Konko Faith Gatherings in New York
October 25 - 26, 2008
The purpose of the New York gatherings is to outreach to believers in the area, as well as people interested in learning more about Konko by attending a service or talking to a minister.
The first New York gathering was held 17 years ago when Rev. Kiyoshi Hata of the Tokyo Church led a service in Manhattan. Since then, Rev. Takao Kishii of the Toronto Church and Rev. Richard Grange of the San Francisco Church have held gatherings throughout the year, usually at homes of believers in the area.
Now, Rev. Joanne Tolosa of the San Francisco Church has been asked to continue this effort and is making her first trip to visit with people in the area.
For more information about this gathering, please contact Rev. Tolosa (information listed below).
