Practice

Practicing faith means you direct your heart toward Kami. 
Though you are surrounded by divine virtue,
you won't receive blessings unless you have faith.

The world is filled with divine virtue and is like a lamp full of oil that is ready to give light to people.  Unfortunately, without the wick of faith, people cannot understand divine virtue and remain ignorant in their darkness.  Therefore, we must practice faith to receive divine blessings.

In order to practice faith, we must keep Kami in our heart at all times.  When we awaken, we should give thanks to Kami for bestowing us with a brand new life for another day.  We should be grateful for the food that Kami provides to sustain our lives, for our health, for our friends, and for our families.  We should believe in Kami completely and ask for guidance at anytime and at any place.  Finally, we should show the respect that Kami so much deserves for all the blessings we are bestowed with.

Practicing faith in such a way, we will gradually gain a better understanding of the divine virtue which surrounds us and receive further blessings.  We will feel and experience Kami's for ourselves the love and care which supports our lives and all things in the universe.  This realization will light the wick of our faith, and allow the bright light of Kami's divine virtue to brighten our lives and the lives of those around us.
