Ground breaking service in San Francisco for new church building, Konko Churches of America office and Yatsunami housing.

Rev. Isao Goto became Head Minister of Portland Church.
July 25

Rev. Nobuharu Uzunoe transferred from Hollywood Church to Portland Church.

Mrs. Michie Uzunoe ordained as Konkokyo Minister.

First meeting of Overseas Missionary Activities, Japan.

Konko Churches of America Young People's Federation established.
