October 2020 Update
Hi everyone,
I hope you are doing well during this time of the continuing pandemic. With professional sports leagues having playoffs in October, it feels like we are on track to overcome the pandemic. However, we still must remain cautious and practice health safety during these sensitive times. As such, the church will continue to close to public gatherings and offer access to services online during October. The church will hold virtual services during October. Please continue to practice faith with a safe distance from public gatherings.
As usual, regular monthly services will be held on the 2nd and 4th Sundays. On the 2nd Sunday of this month, we will hold a special service – the Fall Ikigami Konko Daijin Grand Service. This will start at 11:00 AM as opposed to the usual 9:30 starting time.

Ikigami Konko Daijin Grand Ceremony – 11:00 AM
We express appreciation to Tenchi Kane No Kami for the Founder of our Way of Mediation to help people end suffering. Join us as we celebrate the annual ceremony to exhibit our gratitude to Kami for the life’s work of our Founder, Ikigami Konko Daijin. During his life, Konko Daijin accepted the Divine Call from Tenchi Kane No Kami asking him to end his farming career and devote his time to saving people from suffering through Toritsugi (mediation). His desire to help people and serve Kami were so strong, that he accepted Kami’s request despite the resistance he faced from family members as well as local practitioners of government supported religions. The strength of his will extended beyond his life, and his eternal spirit carries on through his disciples and descendants of those he had helped. So much so that his Way of Mediation is continuing to spread throughout the world to the present day.
